In addition to our partial hospitalization program (PHP), we offer an intensive outpatient program (IOP), to support ongoing recovery.

What Is Intensive Outpatient (IOP)?

Intensive Outpatient (IOP) is ideal for individuals who have completed detox and residential treatment and are transitioning back to their normal routine. Our IOP program is 3 hours per day and either 3 or 5 day days per week. We also offer evening IOP to accommodate those who work or attend school during the day.

Case Management

When attending IOP, our clients are provided with the option to live at home or attend sober living. Peace Valley works conjointly with Candor House sober living in Doylestown, PA. Candor House provides highly structured sober living residences that are upscale and private. Please request additional information here if you are interested in sober living options.

The level of care you start with depends on your situation and what is clinically and medically appropriate. Most of the time, detox and residential treatment are necessary prior to attending an outpatient level of care such as IOP. Our admissions team will take you through a screening process prior to admitting in order to determine which level of care is most appropriate.
While attending IOP at Peace Valley, you will work with your primary therapist to develop a comprehensive aftercare plan. Whether your needs involve reintegrating into the workplace, school, or family issues, we will help you develop a plan to ensure you are ready for the next step in your journey.

Yes, Peace Valley Recovery is in-network with Independence Blue Cross and we also accept most other insurance policies. Additionally, we offer affordable self-pay rates for those who don’t have insurance that will cover the cost of treatment. Please call us to speak with our admissions team. They will take their time to go over your options and explain exactly what your cost will be so that there are no surprises.

Yes, when appropriate we encourage family participation. Family therapy at Peace Valley Recovery is overseen by our team member Megan Mercurio, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
