Peace Valley Recovery is accredited by three agencies so we stand by our words of providing you with the best recovery treatment.

Benefits of Addiction Treatment

There are many benefits to going to rehab. Rehab is there to help those who are having a hard time with substance abuse. It helps the addict find the right tools and resources to get sober.

Those who are addicts know that trying to get sober by yourself can be difficult. Rehab offers a supportive, healing environment that fosters successful recovery.

Rehab offers unique treatment plans that help the client understand their addiction. A facility like Peace Valley Recovery’s main priority is to help a client become sober. Becoming sober is the top priority, but you also learn tools. These tools are for building a healthier lifestyle and staying sober.

Supportive Environment

A facility like Peace Valley Recovery can provide a safe and supportive environment. You will be around others like yourself and understand the struggles of addiction. There will be others nearby that create a community. This is necessary and is key to maintaining long-term sobriety.

Your peers that are at the rehab center are going through the same journey as you. This means that they can help you overcome the difficulties in the journey and that you will not face it alone.

What is important is that others will understand the struggles of addiction. This can include:

  • Trauma that you want to escape from.
  • Uncontrollable cravings.
  • Feeling of shame or guilt when you fail.

The support groups at the rehab facility provide accountability and encouragement. It also might allow you to help someone else with their recovery.

A treatment center gives structure to your daily routine. This routine will teach healthy habits and how to break the cycle of addictive habits. It will create simplicity in life to maintain sobriety.

It is also not easy for someone to go to rehab for the first time. Let Peace Valley Recovery help you get started if you are ready to get help and go to rehab. You can get started by getting in touch with us and we will do the rest of the work.

What to Look for in the Best Drug and Alcohol Rehab Programs

Someone’s life can be saved by getting help with drug and alcohol rehab. However, what should individuals be looking for in a nearby program?

Finding the right rehab program is paramount to an individual. There is a lot of time, money, and energy that is needed for the rehab facility but also for the client. There are many programs out there and knowing what to choose from can be difficult. Here is a list of standards for effective treatment.

  • Quality screening and testing to find causes of addiction.
  • Include comprehensive approaches that address multiple concerns of the patients.
  • Ongoing care to provide social support after the client transitions away from the first part of treatment.
  • Respectful and compassionate environment.
  • Involvement from family members or significant others.
  • Program to retain clients during addiction treatment.
  • Using best practices in the industry based on scientific research.
  • Staffing is certified, ongoing training is available and enough support staff is around.
  • Unique treatment plan based on individualized screening.
  • Having a measurement system in place to gauge patients in the recovery process.
  • Accredited from an outside agency.

In addition, there are certain things that a person or family should avoid when seeking treatment.

  • Addiction is not treated by quick fixes or even cures. Addiction takes a long time to heal and does not happen overnight.
  • Programs that offer rapid detoxification. Rapid detoxification can be dangerous. There is no evidence that it is more effective than traditional detox.
  • Do not go to facilities that only treat one aspect of the addiction. Physical and psychological treatments should be combined.

Peace Valley Recovery has what you need to start your journey toward recovery. We have the best rehab facility that is near Elizabeth, NJ. We will take you from the first step of intake and follow through with aftercare support.

Getting you to sobriety is our goal at Peace Valley Recovery, so we work with you to find the best program for you.

Substance Abuse Treatment Options at Peace Valley Recovery

We offer a variety of treatment programs and therapies at Peace Valley Recovery. We individualized your treatment plan because it is important to your recovery. We know that your path to addiction is unique and so is your treatment plan. We will work with you to find the right solution to give you the best outcome to lead you to sobriety. Your path to success will be part of how we find the right solutions for you.

We offer treatment options that include programs and therapies at our center. Peace Valley Recovery has admissions specialists that find you the right care. We offer two types of treatment programs and five different therapies.

Peace Valley Recovery Treatments

The treatments we offer are partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs.

  • Partial Hospitalization is a 5 days a week program that meets 6 hours a day.
  • This offers you to get treatment and then go back to your home.
  • The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is 3 or 5 days a week and only 3 hours a day. This offers great flexibility. It meets during the day or evening.

Each of these programs offers three benefits:

  • Individualized treatment
  • Balance of life
  • Less expensive than inpatient treatment

Peace Valley Recovery Therapies

Peace Valley Recovery offers five different therapies that are specific to the client. This allows us to pay attention to you as a patient and focus on your needs.

  • Individual
  • Group
  • Recreational
  • Family
  • Education

We do not offer the approach that everyone fits in the same mold. We know that you are unique with your addiction and that is why we pay attention to you while you are with us. Whatever help you might need we are nearby to help you out.

How to Pay for Treatment

When one is ready to get help, the question becomes how will this be paid. Patients who have health insurance, copays, and/or co-insurance will pay 10%-50% out of pocket. Some plans do cover 100% of the cost. We will help you understand what is covered or not covered. You can contact our admissions team and fill out a form. We can help verify your insurance coverage.

If there is no insurance option, there are other ways to get financial help. These include:

  • Military insurance
  • Governmental programs
  • Medicare
  • Medicaid
  • Affordable Care Act

Do not let the cost of rehab prevent you from getting help. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services (SAHMA) has programs that can help those who need it. They offer scholarships or grants to those who need to pay privately.

The cost of not getting treatment does not compare to the cost of addiction. It is important to seek the help needed to get sober.
