Al-Anon was founded to provide support for those who are close to someone with a drug or alcohol addiction problem. Meetings are intended to provide support and learn ways of coping when a loved one is struggling.

Alateen is a program through the Al-Anon organization. This program is designed to specifically provide support for teens and young adults who have to deal with addicted family members.

Troy Alateen Meetings

Although the Troy area does not have any Alateen meetings, Al-Anon welcomes these members to attend one of their meetings.

Teenagers can also use chat rooms for meetings online. These meetings are moderated and are only available when Alateen Group Sponsors are able to be present.

SMART Recovery is different from the 12-Step recovery methods.

SMART Recovery offers a science-based approach towards addiction recovery. Meetings are open to those who suffer from any addiction issues including substances, food, and behaviors.

Our Addiction Treatment Facility

Peace Valley Recovery is located in scenic Bucks County in Pennsylvania.

We offer intensive outpatient services for those who are looking to transition back to their normal routine, in addition to our partial hospitalization program for those who require more structure.

Many people choose to travel to Doylestown, PA for their rehab. There are a number of reasons why this is an option. These include:

  • A need for more privacy for their treatment due to public position or career.
  • Health insurance may only cover certain rehab programs.
  • The need to get away from daily stressors and triggers to create new habits.
